G30 Recommendations (Global Clearing and Settlement)

The latest Group of Thirty Report "Global Clearing and Settlement - A Plan of Action" was officially released on January 23, 2003.

ISSA has had a long history of close involvement with all G30 activity related to securities clearing and settlement. Indeed, of the 85 contributing organisations listed in the new report, 27 are also ISSA member institutions. The list of individuals who supported and shaped the initiative personally and foremost on behalf of their firms, reveals many overlaps with ISSA, too.

In 2004 The Group of Thirty (G30) mandated ISSA to monitor 5 of the recommendations in its January 2003 report "Global Clearing and Settlement: A Plan of Action." Our interaction with G30 thus continues.
