Corporate Actions Case Study by DTCC / XBRL / SWIFT

DTCC, SWIFT and XBRL US, supported by ISO, have launched an initiative in the United States to adopt XBRL to tag event announcement information generated by issuers and their agents, so as to be able to produce ISO standard messaging directly from issuer announcements. The use of XBRL technology enables issuers and their agents to use electronic data tagging technology already coming into use in several jurisdictions for regulatory financial reporting purposes.
